HOW TO WORK WITH THE LABORATORY DELTALABS. — COMPLETE ORDER = FASTER TURNAROUND
For the restoration to be fabricated efficiently, predictably, and without unnecessary adjustments, every order should include all essential information. The most common delays result not from production itself, but from missing documentation, photographs, or unclear instructions.
1. EVERY ORDER SHOULD INCLUDE
— patient name or patient ID
— type of restoration
— teeth / area involved
— delivery deadline
— material
— shade
— brief description of the desired outcome
— phone number for questions
3. FULL TECHNICAL INFORMATION
— type: crown, bridge, veneer, inlay/onlay, provisional
— material: zirconia, e.max, PMMA, etc.
— monolithic or layered
— cementation method, if relevant
IMPLANT CASES:
— implant system
— implant platform
— diameter / platform number
— type: cemented / screw-retained
— scanned scanbody + type and number
— abutment / screw type
2. PHOTOGRAPHS FOR AESTHETIC CASES
— full face — straight on
— wide smile
— intraoral — straight on
— lateral views in occlusion
— close-up of the treatment area
— photo with shade tab next to the tooth
Photos should be sharp, well-lit, and color-neutral. A shade notation alone, e.g. "A2", is usually insufficient.
4. INPUT MATERIAL
— scan: preparation, adjacent teeth, opposing arch, and bite
— for implant cases: properly scanned scanbody
— scanbody fully visible, no artifacts
— impression: legible margin, no distortion
— for unclear preparation margins — explicit note
5. AESTHETIC DESCRIPTION
INSTEAD OF:
"please make it look natural"
BETTER:
"natural effect, no excessive whiteness, slight translucency, smooth surface, soft contours"
6. WHEN AN ORDER IS CONSIDERED ACCEPTED
A properly submitted order is one that includes a scan and all information needed to fabricate the restoration.
ACCEPTED FORMATS:
— Vevi Dental platform — scan and complete information entered in Vevi
— Directly from the scanner — scan sent from the scanner with full information
— Scan + separate order — scan via scanner, complete information separately via Vevi Dental or email
IMPORTANT:
✕ Sending a scan alone does not constitute placing an order
✕ The deadline starts from receipt of all data and materials

The turnaround time is counted from the moment all information and materials needed to fabricate the restoration are received.
